Welcome to Smart Kids Childcare! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Smart Kids Childcare. Each day at our school is an exciting new opportunity to enrich the minds of our students, and we hope your child will join us.
Smart Kids Childcare welcomes students regardless of race, gender, national and ethnic origin, and is non discriminatory in all our policies. We accept children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. All children must be toilet-trained, with the exception of Infant-aged 2.
There are no specific academic entrance requirements; however, we base admission decisions on many factors, especially your child’s age and suitability for our program.
We accept applications all year round. Because space is limited, we encourage prospective parents to begin the admission process as soon as possible.

+ Meet Ms. Brooksie Smith
Hello my name is Brooksie Smith. I taught Kindergaten and First Grade at Lithia Springs Elementary for 31 years. I was actually in the same classroom that entire time. I retired and made it two months when the opportunity basically dropped in my lap to teach in Ga. Pre-K. I’ve been teaching ever since. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy. I have been in the classroom teaching for 37 years.

Hello my name is Erika Harris and I am excited to be one of your Pre-K Teachers. I have been teaching for 14 years and love helping students achieve their full potential.

Hello my name is Melda Freeman, I was born in Queens New York, on October 11. I am the mother of 2 wonderful young men. My main focus in life is to always be an asset to people. Within my journey, I attended the University of West Georgia, where I received my degree of Bachelor’s of Science in Office/Business Administrations. I have worked in the Education field for about 27 years. My philosophy in life is to always have a purpose, for greatness and productivity.

Hello my name is Jasmine Bailey. I am Mrs. Smith’s assistant. We’ve been a great team here at Smart Kids Academy. I have been teaching for 4 years, 2 of which have been in Ga. Pre-K. The other two years were at Kipp Ways Academy. I have my TCC in Early Childhood Education.

Hello my name is Mrs. Smith, and I am so excited to be your teacher! This will be my fourth year teaching at Smart Kids, and my fifteenth year overall. Pre-K will be filled with so many wonderful topics, skills, projects, activities, and memories. I can’t wait to get too know each one of you, because in our classroom, we truly will become a family. I know this year we are going to have a blast and that you all are going to do great things!
